OUT-OF-COURT DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Pursuant to Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection, consumers have the right to seek out-of-court resolution of disputes arising from contracts for the provision of legal services. The authorized body for such resolution between attorneys and consumers is the Czech Bar Association (www.cak.cz).

Data Controller
The controller of personal data is STRATEDORS advokátní kancelář, s.r.o., with its registered office at náměstí Republiky 1081/7, Staré Město, 110 00 Prague 1(hereinafter “we”). You can contact us in writing at the registered office or by email at stratedors.
Why and on what basis we process your data

Provision of legal services
In negotiating and providing our services, we must process your data. This relates in particular to activities under the laws governing advocacy – e.g. legal defense, enforcement of your rights, or ordinary communication via email or telephone. -
Compliance with legal obligations
We also process your data to comply with obligations under applicable laws, in particular tax and accounting regulations, or laws on anti-money laundering measures. -
Protection of legitimate interests
Data may also be used to protect our rights and interests – for example, in debt collection.
Data retention
We retain data for the duration of service provision and further in accordance with statutory periods:
- For the term of the contractual relationship and 10 years thereafter;
- For the period required by specific legislation;
- At least 10 years after termination of the contractual relationship, or longer where required by the case;
- For newsletters, until you raise an objection.
Access to data
Your data may be processed by our employees or contractual partners (processors), always only to the necessary extent and solely for the purpose of providing our services. If data are transferred outside the EU, protection will be ensured through standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Under data protection regulations, in particular GDPR, you have the right to:
- Request access to your personal data (i.e. find out what we process and how);
- Request restriction of processing;
- Request rectification or erasure of data;
- Object to processing;
- Exercise the right to data portability.
You may exercise your rights by contacting us at stratedors or by post. If you believe that we process your data unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection (www.uoou.cz).
Objections to processing
You have the right to object to the processing of your data where processing is based on our legitimate interest. In such case, we will stop processing unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds which override your interests or rights. Objections may be sent by email to stratedors or by post.
